In some firms, quality teams come into position after all products are finished and packed in carton box. And they call it final checking using AQL certain standard. In Cathaya, quality management starts from the very beginning, the moment that an idea develops into actual fabrics. That answers primarily why we invest our in-house test lab in the factory.

The in-house test lab brings in several key benefits. First, new fabrics get tested before we bring the idea/selection to customers. That might reduce the overall quantity we present to customers, however, in the long run, it saves precious resources and efforts by catching potential issues at much earlier stage. Second, regular fabrics can go through random verification as a safeguard in addition to regular annual test. Last but not least, samples with new techniques will be tested to ensure they are safe and consumer-friendly as well as aesthetically designed.
