Cathaya Hosts 2019 Children’s Summer Camp

This year, Cathaya proudly organized a 21-day summer camp program, welcoming more than 20 children of Cathaya employees. The event, which had just been one day in past years, brought in experienced teachers to give lectures to enhance the children’s knowledge and understanding of art, literature and creative thinking.

The camp this year also included a one-day learning tour with the theme of “understanding Chinese history, flying dreams”, which led the children to visit the site of the first national congress of the communist party of China, so the children could have a better understanding of Chinese history. The children also visited a famous university in Shanghai.

When the children finished the 21-day summer camp and returned to their hometown schools, we have no doubt that the children will hold fond memories of this year’s summer camp – the various activities, classes, and opportunities to create and share new ideas and art with the class. The children were very excited about the new changes made to our summer camp this year and our employees loved having their children at work – learning from their colleagues and peers.
